"nestled in the foothills

of the Berkshires"
Nestled in the foothills of the Berkshires, the hills and swales, tors and valleys of the Norfolk countryside have an ancient feel. In the late 19th century, Norfolk evolved into a fashionable resort as visitors from New York, Hartford, Pittsburgh and Boston were drawn by its cool summers and clean air. The town has ever since had a bustling "summer colony” and is home to three state parks, the Yale Summer School of Music, and Infinity Hall, a shingled 1880's Arts-and-Crafts confection, with an opera house upstairs and storefronts at street level.
Visitors to Norfolk will enjoy its beauty throughout the seasons and find the Norfolk Farmers Market Saturdays in front of the town hall. This lively, friendly market features an eclectic mix of farmers, producers, artists and artisans from Norfolk and the surrounding region. You’ll find fresh vegetables and fruit, herbs, cut flowers and plants; local meats, cheeses, yogurt and eggs; breads and baked goods; wine; honey and maple syrup, jams, jellies and pickles, plus an array of wonderful foods to take home or eat on the spot. Live music and special events including chef demonstrations add to the ambiance.

The market operates outdoors on Saturdays from mid May through mid October, rain or shine, and indoors every other week January through April, the weekend before Thanksgiving and a Holiday Market the first Saturday in December.
