The Market offers 40 full time vendors, and additional weekly guest vendors in conjunction with the weekly theme.
In addition to the weekly theme market customers enjoy live music in a quaint, shaded country park. The market offers a Kids Power of Produce Club June-August. Kids ages 5-12 can participate in a weekly food based activity, sample the produce of the week and receive a $2 token to be used towards the purchase of fresh produce.
Ellington Farmers Market matches SNAP benefits up to $20 per EBT card per week and matches Senior and WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program vouchers doubling the spending power of low income families.
Parking is ample, picnic tables are available where you can enjoy the company of friends and family. Leashed, friendly dogs are welcome.
All products are made or grown in CT: vegetables, micro greens, cheese, flowers and plants, dairy, fruit, jams, jellies, pickled food items, maple syrup, baked goods, honey, eggs, beef, poultry, seafood, pork, lamb, dog treats, handcrafted soaps and body care, natural cleaning products, a wide variety of ready-made and specialty food items and artisan wares.

The EHRC has established 3 hiking trails along the river and they are named the Windemere Avenue Trail, the Franklin Street Trail and the West Road Trail. These trails follow along the river with scenic vistas of the waterway and benches at intervals for relaxation and viewing of water, marshes and wildlife in all seasons.
