We created The Farmers’ Market Trail because we are passionate about local foods.

To make your visit to some fantastic farmers' markets even more enjoyable, this website serves as an insider's guide to things to do on market day at each locale, trending sharply toward the offbeat and unique.
Because farmers' market operate largely on cash, we have included a link to an ATM from a community bank or credit union, if there is one nearby.

Restaurants included on the Trail source some or even most of their ingredients from Connecticut farms.

Collaborating on this grassroots project are farmers, chefs, food producers, market organizers, handcraft artisans, and local, independent businesses.
